SPIROL Shims in Stow, OH seeks a full-time 3rd shift Production Supervisor to develop and lead a production team. You will drive on-time, high-quality output while maintaining a clean, safe environment and coordinating with internal resources to ensure equipment and processes are optimized.

You will train staff, manage performance, and implement continuous improvement projects that enhance productivity and reduce costs.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree in Business or Technical Field; Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent experience.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Leadership, decisiveness, organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to prioritize multiple functions.
• Excellent interpersonal skills: interviewing, coaching, mentoring, conflict resolution.
• Strong computer/IT skills to manage MRP, JIT, Performance Metrics and 5S (mainframe and PC).
• Leadership aligned with Total Quality Management in ISO/TS/QS/AS environment.

Responsabilités

• Builds and leads a high-performance production team with hiring, coaching, and performance feedback.
• Ensures proper training and cross-training of staff to cover absences and retirements.
• Meets production schedule by directing resources (people and machines).
• Maintains a safe, well-equipped work environment with necessary tools and materials.
• Investigates variances and drives permanent corrective actions for improvements.
• Keeps accurate production records and supports management on special projects.
• Drives continuous improvement to boost morale, productivity, quality and cost savings.
• Documents work instructions and trains new employees.
