Job summary

ManpowerGroup is seeking a Processing Operator for a Milwaukee production site. You will operate processing equipment to meet QA standards, mix ingredients, monitor temperature and moisture, and follow batch sheets to ensure correct recipes.

Safety and hygiene are central: you will document measurements, perform changeovers, and participate in 5S practices while maintaining equipment and records for continuous improvement. This shift includes 3rd shift with overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• Ability to follow sanitation procedures for cleanups and changeovers, including chemical handling.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred (1 year), with willingness to learn and perform under general supervision.
• Comfort using material handling equipment (including forklift and/or pallet jack) to move raw ingredients and maintain proper raw material levels.
• Strong attention to safety and hygiene practices, including 5S/housekeeping, PPE usage, clear aisles/exits, and safe lifting/carrying.
• Ability to communicate and/or escalation quality issues to the appropriate team members and report job-related injuries to supervision.

Responsibilities

• Operate processing equipment to produce product within Quality Assurance guidelines and to the highest possible standard of quality.
• Properly mix ingredients, monitor correct temperature/moisture, make adjustments as needed, and remove any improperly formed or overlapped product.
• Operate and shut down equipment in the processing area according to established procedures, including changeovers and preventative maintenance.
• Read and follow batch sheets, including accurate weighing of raw materials and correct recipe execution.
• Maintain required records by monitoring and logging temperatures, mix times, item numbers, raw material weights, and checking for possible foreign matter.
