Job summary

Masterson Foods is seeking a Processing Specialist for the 3rd shift in Milwaukee, WI. You will set up, operate, and tend equipment that blends, heats, and processes ingredients to meet production needs and maintain product quality.

You will follow GMP and SOPs, monitor temperatures and batch integrity, record lot numbers and process data, and work with others to ensure safe, efficient operations. Candidates should have 1–3 years in food manufacturing and a high school diploma, with strong math

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required; technical degree preferred.
• 1–3 years in food, drug, or beverage manufacturing in a similar role.
• Ability to lift and move 50 pounds continuously.
• Experience with batch, compounding, or mixing.
• Detail oriented with precision to meet quality standards.
• Knowledge of OSHA codes, GMPs and sanitary design; basic environmental regs.
• Basic math skills including weight/volume conversions.
• Hardworking, punctual, dependable, and able to work with others.

Responsibilities

• Set up and change over to meet production requirements, adjust valves, and verify formulas.
• Weigh, dump, and meter ingredients; operate mixers and pumps as directed.
• Monitor cooking process, temperatures, and holding tank conditions.
• Pump product to holding tanks and supervise equipment like homogenizers as needed.
• Record lot numbers, deviations, temperatures, and equipment data.
• Complete production paperwork and data entry for reports and checks.
• Take samples for QC and lab testing as required.
• Clean and sanitize vessels and equipment per SOPs and GMPs.
• Adhere to GMP, food safety, safety standards, and standardized work.
