Job summary

Altium Packaging is seeking a Process Technician to maintain and repair production equipment, including pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical systems, to minimize downtime at our Hebron facility. You will perform preventative maintenance, troubleshoot issues, and support safe operation while following all corporate and plant safety standards.

Strong mechanical and electrical skills, good problem-solving, and a commitment to quality are essential.

Qualifications

• Must have high school diploma or GED and strong mechanical/electrical skills.
• Excellent problem solving and attention to detail.
• Ability to recommend process improvements and follow safety rules.
• Strong reading and English communication skills.
• Prior PLC, forklift, or food-industry experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Install, adjust, repair, and perform preventive maintenance on production equipment.
• Perform mold, neck tooling changes and other equipment adjustments.
• Inspect and replace pneumatic/hydraulic hoses and valves/pumps.
• Maintain machines in optimal processing condition and weld/repair as needed.
• Troubleshoot root causes and perform repairs to minimize downtime.
• Operate production machines as required and support safety standards.
• Overtime may be required to meet business needs.
