Job summary

Altium Packaging is seeking an Industrial Maintenance Technician for the Hebron, KY plant. The role involves 3rd shift work from 11:00 PM to 7:30 AM, Sunday through Thursday, performing repairs, preventive and corrective maintenance on blow mold and related production equipment.

The position requires basic math, computer skills, pneumatics and hydraulics knowledge, and strong attention to detail. OSHA forklift certification is preferred; high school diploma or GED is required.

Qualifications

• Basic math and measurement skills required.
• Proficiency with basic computer tools.
• Knowledge of pneumatics and hydraulics is required.
• Strong attention to detail in a fast-paced plant.

Responsibilities

• Repair and perform preventive and corrective maintenance on production machinery.
• Install, adjust and repair blow mold, trimmers, palletizer and related equipment.
• Perform mold, neck tooling changes, pin and other equipment changes.
• Inspect and replace pneumatic and hydraulic hoses; inspect, rebuild and replace valves and pumps.
• Weld, fabricate and repair various machines.
• Troubleshoot and identify root causes on blow mold and related equipment.
• May operate blow mold or injection machines as needed.
• Communicate with other departments regularly; duties may vary by plant.
