Job summary

Omega Plastics Inc. is seeking a Process Technician - Shift Supervisor for the 3rd shift (Mon-Fri with some weekends), 11:30pm–8:00am, on-site at Clinton Township, MI. You will lead the 3rd shift in meeting production targets, manage safety and quality, and drive continuous improvement across molding operations.

Responsibilities include coaching the team, scheduling, reporting, and ensuring adherence to ISO/IQMS standards while maintaining a strong focus on productivity and defect reduction.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in plastic injection molding manufacturing with 3+ years in supervisory/leadership role.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Experience in ISO environments; familiarity with ISO 13485 is a plus.
• Forklift certification or ability to pass certification.
• Demonstrated problem-solving and lean manufacturing skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor shift team to meet safety, quality, and production goals.
• Manage daily production schedule, issue priorities, and maximize output.
• Monitor quality, scrap, cycle times, and ensure proper documentation and records.
• Coordinate training and development of associates; approve PTO and manage attendance.
• Ensure ISO/IQMS documentation is complete and up-to-date; maintain cleanroom procedures.
