Job summary

Omega Plastics Inc. in Clinton Township, MI is seeking a Lead Operator for the 2nd shift (3:30pm-12:00am, Mon-Fri with some Saturdays). You will support the supervisor and troubleshoot equipment, train operators, and perform standard machine operator duties as needed.

Qualifications include prior plastic injection molding or manufacturing experience and ability to follow instructions; ISO environment experience is preferred, plus strong teamwork and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Prior plastic injection molding or manufacturing experience is required.
• ISO controlled environment experience preferred.
• Ability to understand and follow visual, written and verbal instructions; good teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Uphold and communicate company purpose, principles and vision.
• Ensure compliance with policies, safety and regulatory requirements.
• Oversee workflow to meet production schedules.
• Support training and troubleshoot issues.
• Collaborate with internal teams to resolve problems.
• Act as subject matter expert for the production line and support projects.
• Manage paperwork for line startup and shutdown.
• Coordinate break schedules and support machine operation during breaks.
• Perform other tasks as assigned by supervisor/manager.
