Job summary

Hubbell Incorporated in Forest Oaks, NC, is seeking a Team Lead-Press to oversee daily lead duties on the press line, assign work, monitor progress, enforce PPE and safety, and back up the supervisor as needed. You will train associates, lead the production line to meet schedule, manage production paperwork, coordinate with SAP, and ensure housekeeping and quality.

A High School Diploma or GED is required; SAP and Office 365 familiarity are preferred.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED or Equivalent required.
Must be able to lead a team and work independently.
SAP experience preferred or ability to learn SAP.
Office 365 experience preferred or ability to learn basics (Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel).

Responsibilities

Understand press processes and run the press; troubleshoot minor issues and back up the process technician.
Train new associates on processes and procedures.
Lead the production line to meet the schedule.
Provide work assignments, daily production paperwork, and monitor progress.
Verify production paperwork is complete and accurate.
Complete SAP confirmations.
Review planned schedule and print Work Orders.
Email end-of-shift pass-down notes and effectivity sheets.
Maintain clean, safe work areas and enforce safety guidelines.
Redirect off-task employees and replenish consumables.
Provide feedback to supervisor regarding employee performance and improvements.
