Job summary

RRD is seeking a skilled press team member for the 3rd shift in West Bend, Wisconsin. The role involves preparing the press for runs by verifying job specs and setting up equipment, inspecting ink systems, and monitoring paper flow to ensure timely production.

You will also manage paper inventory, mount new rolls, assist with press maintenance, and adjust ink/solvent/varnish to achieve accurate color. Adherence to safety policies and ISO Quality procedures is essential.

Qualifications

• Previous printing environment experience preferred.
• Some experience with hand tools preferred.
• Must be able to work in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Prepares the press for a run by verifying job specs and setting up the press.
• Inspects fountain solution, inking systems, rolls of paper and related mechanisms.
• Maintains inventory of paper and records usage on SPC report.
• Monitors the flow of paper and prepares new roll when necessary.
• Assists maintenance personnel in troubleshooting and making repairs to press.
• May assist with make-readies.
• May adjust ink, solvent, and varnish to ensure correct color.
• Follows safety policies and ISO Quality Manual.
