Anderson International Corp. is seeking an experienced manual machinist to set up and operate lathes, mills, grinders, and broaching equipment on the 3rd shift.

You will study blueprints, work orders and routings to determine dimensions and tolerances, then select tools and run operations to drawing specifications. The role requires strong blueprint reading, shop math, and the ability to use micrometers, calipers and dial indicators.

Qualifikationen

• High school diploma or equivalent; trade school machining program a plus.
• 3+ years of manual machining experience with strong lathe skills.
• Strong blueprint reading and shop math abilities.
• Able to use micrometers, bore gauges, calipers and dial indicators.
• Willing to cross-train on all manual machining equipment.
• Own basic machinist tools and work third shift reliably.

Aufgaben

• Study blueprints, routings and work orders to determine dimensions and tolerances.
• Operate manual lathes, mills, grinders and broaching machines to drawing.
• Set up and run machines; select tools, speeds, feeds, and depth of cut.
• Check parts with gauges and indicators; record first-piece and in-process checks.
• Maintain clean, safe work area and report safety concerns.
