Job summary

Pretium Packaging is seeking a Machine Operator for the 3rd shift (11:50pm - 8:00am) in Greensboro, NC. You will set up and operate plastic molding machines, monitor performance, and perform preventive maintenance to keep lines running efficiently.

The role requires a High School Diploma or GED, 1–2 years of related experience, and basic computer skills; experience with MaintainX ERP is a plus. Safety and quality compliance are essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred (technical training plus).
• 1-2 years of related experience
• Experience in plastics or packaging industry a plus
• Working knowledge of computer operating systems.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate plastic molding machines according to established procedures.
• Monitor machine performance during operation and adjust as needed to ensure optimal efficiency.
• Perform routine maintenance and basic troubleshooting to minimize downtime.
• Inspect finished products to ensure compliance with quality standards and specifications.
• Identify and resolve production issues in a timely manner.
• Check and maintain defined levels of all raw materials used in production on assigned machinery.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Complete required documentation accurately and timely.
• Perform other duties as assigned and report any problems.
