Job summary

Altium Packaging in Thomasville, NC is seeking an experienced Machine Operator on the 3rd shift. You will operate blow mold, grinder and trimmer machines, run the conveyor system, and perform basic maintenance to keep production lines running smoothly.

Responsibilities include setting up machines, adjusting speeds, conducting quality checks, logging data, and troubleshooting process issues in a fast-paced environment. Overtime may be required; 3rd shift hours are 10:45 PM to 6:15 AM.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience as a machine operator
• Ability to read blueprints, schematics and manuals
• Strong mechanical aptitude and analytical skills

Responsibilities

• Set up machines (calibration, cleaning, etc.) to start a production cycle
• Control and adjust machine settings (e.g., speed)
• Operate blow-mold machines
• Perform audits, weights and quality checks
• Enter data into SPC database for quality control measures
• Troubleshoot, preventative maintenance, minor repair on blow mold & support equipment
