Job summary

Pretium Packaging, L.L.C. is seeking a Machine Operator for the 3rd shift (11:50pm - 8:00am) in Greensboro, NC. The role focuses on setting up and operating plastic molding equipment, maintaining quality and safety standards, and ensuring production lines run efficiently.

You will perform basic maintenance, monitor performance, and document production activities. Candidates should have a High School Diploma or GED and 1–2 years of related experience, with plastics industry experience a plus.

Qualifications

1-2 years of related experience.
Experience in plastics or packaging industry a plus.
Working knowledge of computer operating systems.

Responsibilities

Set up and operate plastic molding machines according to established procedures.
Monitor machine performance during operation and adjust as needed to ensure optimal efficiency.
Perform routine maintenance and basic troubleshooting to minimize downtime.
Inspect finished products to ensure compliance with quality standards and specifications.
Identify and resolve production issues in a timely manner.
Check and maintain defined levels of all raw materials used in production on assigned machinery.
