Job summary

Voltava in Michigan is seeking a 3rd Shift Manufacturing Engineer to develop assembly processes based on customer requirements, invest in equipment, and manage project timelines to deliver reliable throughput and quality.

You will lead automation and robotics selections, train operators, partner with Quality and PC&L to integrate PFMEA and Control Plans, monitor OEE, and drive cost reductions while maintaining a safe, compliant plant environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent required.
• Experience in manufacturing engineering with automation and tooling.
• Strong knowledge of PFMEA, Control Plans, and GD&T.

Responsibilities

• Develop and optimize assembly processes and tooling to meet program requirements.
• Lead automation/robotics initiatives and coordinate equipment selection.
• Train operators and support launch teams; ensure OEE targets and cost reductions.
• Collaborate with Quality and PC&L to integrate PFMEA and process controls.
