Job summary

Eaton is hiring for a Material Handler I on the 3rd shift (Paint) in the ES AMER ARS division. The role offers a base hourly rate of $19.26 plus a 5% shift differential, with hours from 11 PM to 7 AM. Primary duties include moving parts, inspecting quality, and supporting a safe, efficient production line.

Qualified candidates must have a high school diploma or GED and obtain a forklift license. No relocation assistance is offered; applicants within 50 miles will be considered.

Qualifications

• Must have a High School Diploma/GED
• Must be able to obtain a forklift license
• No relocation benefit offered; within 50-mile radius of work location
• Eaton will not sponsor employment immigration or related plans
• Internal Only: must not be on a written or final written warning
• Internal Only: must complete at least 6 months in current role before applying for another position

Responsibilities

• Operate in a manner that supports Eaton’s Quality standards and systems
• Comply with safety policies and wear PPE
• Retrieve parts using a forklift as needed
• Set hook configurations and visually inspect parts for quality
• Verify counts and Kanban cards for accuracy
• Perform de-burring and de-greasing operations
• Maintain clean and orderly work area and 5S
• Collaborate with teams, cross-train on load/unload, train new employees
• Lift up to 40 pounds and work overtime as needed
• Maintain guarding and safety equipment in good condition
