Job summary

Eaton Corporation's ES AMER ARS division is seeking a Material Handler I for the 3rd shift on the Paint line. The position offers hourly pay of $19.26 plus a 5% shift differential, with hours 11 PM to 7 AM. The role focuses on supporting production, handling parts, and ensuring quality standards are met.

You will operate forklift, follow safety policies, keep areas clean, and collaborate with teams. A High School Diploma/GED and forklift license are required, with relocation not offered;

Qualifications

• Must have a High School Diploma/GED from an accredited institution.
• Must be able to obtain a forklift license.
• No relocation benefit; within 50 miles of work location will be considered.
• No immigration sponsorship (CPT/OPT/STEM OPT or similar) will be provided.

Responsibilities

• Perform work that supports Eaton’s Quality standards and systems.
• Comply with safety policies and wear PPE as required.
• Retrieve parts from storage using a forklift as needed.
• Set hooks, hang parts, check quality, and manage packing equipment.
• Verify counts and Kanban cards for accuracy.
• Perform de-burring and degreasing operations.
• Maintain clean, organized work areas and 5S in the area.
• Collaborate with teams, cross-train on load/unload, train new employees.
• Lift up to 40 pounds; stand for shift; overtime as needed.
• Maintain guarding and safety equipment in good order.

What you’ll do:

• Perform work in a manner that supports Eaton’s Quality standards and systems
• Comply with all safety policies and procedures, including wearing proper PPE
• Retrieve parts from storage locations, using a forklift as necessary.
• Set hook arrangements, hang parts in the proper configuration, visually check parts for quality issues, packing equipment, and assure hooks are properly stored when not in use and other items as required
• Verify counts and Kanban cards to assure accuracy.
• Perform de-burring and de-greasing operations.
• Maintain equipment and work areas in a clean and orderly manner and maintain 5s in the area
• Work with various groups of employees in a team-based environment, cross train on load and unload. Train new employees. Perform other duties assigned by supervisor
• Ability to lift 40 pounds and stand throughout working shift and work overtime as needed.
• Maintain guarding and safety equipment in good working order.

Qualifications:

Basic Qualifications:

• Must have a High School Diploma/GED from an accredited institution
• Must be able to obtain a forklift license
• No relocation benefit is being offered for this position. Only candidates within a 50-mile radius of work location will be considered. Active Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitation.
