Job summary

Eaton's ES GEIS BLD division in Sherman, TX seeks an Industrial Material Handler on 2nd shift (2:30 pm–11:00 pm). The position offers a base rate of $21.94/hr plus a $1.20/hr shift differential, for a total around $23.14/hr, with overtime as needed.

You will unload/load from assembly lines, operate forklifts, move materials, store and deliver, stack pallets, and participate in 5S and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent from an accredited institution.
• Valid state issued driver's license required.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship.
• No relocation benefit is being offered for this position. Only candidates that currently reside within the immediate geographical area of Sherman, TX will be considered.

Responsibilities

• Unloading and loading from Primaries and /or Industrial assembly and fabrication lines to keep flow of product smooth and efficient.
• Move raw material in a safe manner and dispose of scrap.
• Operate forklifts.
• Store, space, and deliver materials or products.
• Stack pallets and arrange materials.
• Palletize and secure material as needed.
• Receive training on use of power truck and other powered material handling equipment (ex. walking crane or hoist).
• Perform 5S & Continuous Improvement activities.
• Additional duties as assigned.
