Job summary

Opella is seeking a Packaging Technician in Chattanooga, TN to ensure smooth packaging operations on a 3rd shift. You will set up, clean, maintain and troubleshoot line equipment such as tube and bottle fillers, cappers, labelers and bundlers to meet quality standards.

You will follow Set-Up Sheets and SOPs, uphold safety, and contribute to sustainability goals while supporting a growing self-care revolution.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Experience in manufacturing, production, including operating high-speed packaging equipment.
• Proficient with packaging machinery and related tools.
• Physical ability to lift 25–60 pounds and stand/walk for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain production lines, ensuring safety, quality and output.
• Troubleshoot and propose smarter, simpler ways to keep things running.
• Get training and early ownership to build your skills and confidence.
• See how your work supports sustainability goals and protects people and the planet.
• This is a 3rd shift position. Sunday - Thursday: 10:00pm - 6:30am.
• Prepare packaging lines for various products, ensuring components and equipment are set up correctly.
• Monitor product quality and reject any materials not meeting FDA-cGMP standards.
