Job summary

PCI Pharma Services is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic 2 for our Rockford, IL site on a Weekend B shift (Fri-Sun, 6:45pm–7:00am). You will install, troubleshoot, maintain, and repair equipment to keep packaging lines running safely and efficiently.

You will perform preventive maintenance, changeovers, repairs, and adjustments, read equipment manuals, and collaborate across departments to meet production goals while adhering to PCI, cGMP, and safety policies. Overtime may be required.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years maintenance experience in manufacturing.
• 2-year Technical School.
• Basic math and computer skills.
• Ability to read standard items addressed to general readers.
• Strong problem-solving and teamwork abilities.

Responsibilities

• Support packaging lines with routine and non-routine adjustments.
• Perform preventive maintenance, changeovers, repairs, and running adjustments.
• Use hand tools and power tools to perform duties.
• Read equipment manuals and work orders.
• Overtime and weekend work may be required.
• Follow PCI, cGMP, and GCP policies.
• Escalate safety or quality issues to supervisor.
