Job summary

Leidos in Arlington, VA is seeking a Network Administrator for the 2nd shift to support the CESO program on-site. You will lead day-to-day operations and incident response for the 2 PM–10 PM shift.

The role requires a TS/SCI clearance, DoD 8570 IAT II certification (e.g., Security+). A BS in CS/IT with 4+ years of experience is expected, along with the ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI clearance required.
• DoD 8570 certification at least IAT level II (e.g., Security+ CE).
• BS in Computer Science or IT with 4+ years of experience.
• Willing to work 2nd shift (2 PM–10 PM) on-site.
• Experience monitoring network performance, security, and availability.
• Experience configuring switches/routers and dynamic routing (BGP, OSPF).
• Experience with VLANs and 802.1x.
• Experience troubleshooting S2S/IPsec tunnels and VLAN configurations.

Responsibilities

• Network monitoring of connections and performance to ensure availability.
• Identify risks and mitigate network issues.
• Plan, coordinate, and implement network maintenance, installation, and security.
• Receive and review user requests to resolve access issues.
• Troubleshoot and escalate complex problems to senior engineers or vendors.
• Configure, install, and maintain network devices and software.
