TriMas Packaging LLC is seeking an experienced Molding Lead for the 3rd shift (10p-6a) in Auburn, IN. This on-site role drives a high-volume plastic injection molding operation, leading a team to deliver quality products while maintaining safety and efficiency.

You will set up molding machines, monitor processes, troubleshoot issues, and work with tooling staff to optimize cycle times and product quality. Join a company with a strong emphasis on safety and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of plastic injection mold processing experience from mold setting through successful processing.
• 1+ years in a leadership role.
• Lock out tag out experience is required.
• Calipers, indicating micrometers, and reading inspection specs experience.
• Hands-on experience with high volume injection molding.
• Paulson Training is a plus.

Responsabilités

• Ensure safe practices daily by following all safety procedures.
• Set up injection molding machines and auxiliary equipment to regulate parameters and meet quality standards.
• Check products with calipers and optical comparators and start up molds for optimal cycle times.
• Monitor and troubleshoot processing issues and perform preventive maintenance.
• Reduce material scrap to protect the environment and cut costs.
• Provide feedback on mold design and assist Tool and Die Makers to dial in molds.
