TriMas Packaging LLC in Auburn, Indiana is seeking a 2nd Shift Lead to manage and mentor the assembly team on-site. You will drive daily production, enforce safety procedures, and uphold quality standards while meeting schedule targets.

Responsibilities include coaching staff, coordinating with maintenance and quality teams, tracking production metrics, and completing required reports. A high school diploma and prior leadership in manufacturing are required, with preferred multi-department

Qualifications

• Requires leadership experience in manufacturing or production.
• Strong problem-solving, troubleshooting, and decision-making skills.
• Effective communication and organizational skills are essential.
• Ability to oversee multiple departments and prioritize tasks.
• Hands-on experience in high-volume manufacturing is preferred.

Responsabilités

• Lead, coach, and support assembly employees to meet daily production goals, quality standards, and efficiency targets.
• Ensure safety procedures are followed and a safe working environment is maintained.
• Oversee daily operations within assigned department(s) and coordinate staffing as needed.
• Monitor production schedules, assignments, workflow, and staffing to hit targets.
• Ensure products are assembled correctly and meet quality standards.
• Identify and resolve production issues; escalate maintenance when needed.
• Monitor product quality, minimize scrap, and pursue continuous improvements.
• Communicate production updates and shift handoff information to supervisors.
• Train employees on standard work procedures, safety requirements, and quality expectations.
• Support attendance, performance, and policy adherence; assist with cross-training.
• Collaborate with maintenance, quality, and other teams to resolve issues and maintain efficiency.
• Complete required production reports, documentation, and administrative tasks.
