Job summary

TriMas Packaging LLC is seeking a Mold Setter for the 1st shift in Indiana, to set molds, run presses, and ensure quality parts. The role requires experience with injection molding, process parameter loading, and adherence to ISO-9001 guidelines.

You will troubleshoot setup issues, pre-stage upcoming jobs, and work with the Shift Supervisor to maintain production efficiency while observing safety protocols. Flexible scheduling may apply.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in plastic injection mold processing and setup
• Strong quality and process understanding per ISO guidelines
• Ability to work with multiple projects in a fast-paced environment

Responsibilities

• Set mold into press and load process parameters as defined.
• Produce first good product before operator hand off.
• Remove, clean and store mold and auxiliary equipment after jobs.
• Maintain process characteristics and resolve deviations for quality parts.
• Investigate root causes of repetitive problems and implement corrective actions.
• Diagnose and fix setup issues on production equipment.
• Pre-stage next production job order including changes and requirements.
• Follow ISO-9001 guidelines and safety procedures when changing molds.
• Be flexible with schedules, overtime, and weekend work.
