TriMas Packaging LLC in Auburn, IN is seeking a Production Supervisor on the 1st shift to oversee daily manufacturing activities and a team up to 45 people. You will drive safety, training, and production targets while maintaining a clean, organized workplace.

You will partner with maintenance and leadership to keep schedules on track and report on performance daily. The role requires strong supervision, English communication, and Lean/Six Sigma experience, with a focus on improving processes

Qualifikationen

• 3-5 years of supervisory experience in manufacturing environment.
• Proven people management skills and ability to develop and/or maintain a team.
• Excellent English verbal and written communication skills.
• Computer skills (ERP, Microsoft Office Outlook, Word, Excel).
• Technical background in injection molding, steel manufacturing, paint lines and/or high-speed assembly preferred.
• Lean or Six Sigma qualification preferred.

Aufgaben

• Ensures a safe work environment and PPE is used by all team members.
• Ensures team members are properly trained for the work and targets.
• Voice and face of leadership and resolves personnel issues with safety first.
• Communicates product quality and productivity to the team for self-correction.
• Ensures hourly/daily production reporting is accurate and goals are met.
• Works with maintenance when machine issues affect production schedule.
• Accountable for smooth shift transitions and communication of resource issues.
• Ensures production schedule is completed and reports issues to Buyer/Planner.
• Ensures daily job orders, assignments and time-off are completed.
• Mantains a visual workplace with status boards and update visibility.
• Addresses off-schedule situations and lost time promptly.
• Communicates improvement opportunities to Engineering/Management.
• Performs other duties as assigned by the Manager.
