Job summary

Advocate Health is seeking a Medical Laboratory Technician at ACL Laboratories – AMC Manitowoc County in Wisconsin. You will perform and monitor laboratory tests in accordance with established protocols and support phlebotomists and staff to ensure accurate results.

This full-time, 7-on, 7-off night shift position includes a $5,000 sign-on bonus and requires an Associate’s Degree in Clinical Lab Tech or related field with licensure within 1 year; no prior experience is required.

Qualifications

• MLT certification must be obtained within 1 year (ASCP BOC or AMT).
• Associate's degree in clinical lab tech or related field required.
• No prior experience required.

Responsibilities

• Perform, evaluate, and monitor lab tests per protocols and adjust workflow accordingly.
• Evaluate results for clinical significance and report as required.
• Calibrate and maintain instruments; perform quality control and corrective actions.
• Support phlebotomists and staff; ensure specimen labeling correctness.
