Job summary

GE Appliances, a Haier company, is seeking a 3rd Shift Team Leader in LaFayette, GA. You will lead daily safety briefings, ensure 6S in the work area, and coordinate production schedules. You will manage team meetings, PPE, and materials, while supporting training and performance evaluation of operators.

Requirements include a high school diploma or GED, strong interpersonal skills, and knowledge of assembly line processes. MMS and RC Menu experience are valued.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Interpersonal and teamwork skills essential.
• Knowledge of assembly line parts and processes.
• Able to perform all jobs on line.
• Must be familiar with Material Management System (MMS) and operating systems.
• OJT certification preferred.
• Proficient with Word, Excel and basic software.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily safety and ergonomic briefings; ensure safety first.
• Lead team meetings and act as main communications source.
• Maintain 6S practices and clean work areas.
• Update JSIs and manage production schedules; track materials.
• Ensure PPE is available and parts shortages are addressed with leaders.
• Oversee overtime, budgets, and CTQ certification of stations.
• Train operators and evaluate performance.
