Job summary

Medtronic is seeking a Manufacturing Supervisor for its Vessel Sealing operations in Boulder, CO. The role leads frontline production teams, ensures safe and compliant manufacturing, and drives continuous improvement on 3rd shift (10:45 PM–6:45 AM). Travel is not anticipated; onsite work five days a week.

Responsibilities include staffing, scheduling, coaching, and coordinating with Quality, Engineering, and Supply Chain to meet production, quality, and cost goals.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent and 1+ years of supervisory, leadership, or people management experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience scheduling work, prioritizing activities, coaching employees, and executing operational processes.
• Experience supporting production execution and workforce coordination in a manufacturing setting.

Responsibilities

• Lead frontline manufacturing teams to achieve safety, quality, delivery, and productivity objectives.
• Prioritize and execute production schedules based on demand, equipment capacity, and material availability.
• Develop staffing plans and shift coverage to support changing production needs.
• Coach and develop production employees, trainers, and team leads to build capability and succession planning.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on throughput, waste reduction, and efficiency.
• Partner with Quality, Engineering, Supply Chain, and cross-functional teams to resolve issues and improve performance.
• Monitor manufacturing metrics to identify trends and implement corrective actions.
• Support resource planning, labor management, and departmental budget activities.
