Job summary

Nesco Resource is seeking a Maintenance Technician in Elyria, OH. The role focuses on troubleshooting machinery, maintaining facility systems, and keeping operations running smoothly. Ideal candidates have at least five years of maintenance experience and hands-on problem-solving skills.

Shift is 3rd (9pm–5:30am) with training on the 1st shift. Salary ranges from $26 to $30 per hour based on experience, and a comprehensive benefits package is provided.

Qualifications

• Minimum of five years of maintenance experience.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Forklift operation proficiency.
• Good computer skills.
• Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations (rates, ratios, percentages).
• Ability to use measuring devices accurately.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to stand/walk 8–10 hours, climb ladders, and occasionally work inside machinery.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair machinery and equipment issues as they arise.
• Maintain, diagnose, and repair building systems (lighting, water, waste, compressed air).
• Perform routine maintenance on tools and equipment.
• Monitor inventory and stock maintenance supplies and parts.
• Identify potential issues and develop solutions to minimize downtime.
• Follow safety procedures during maintenance and repairs.
• Respond to maintenance needs to support efficient facility operations.
