Job summary

EAS Direct Hire is seeking an experienced Industrial Maintenance Technician for a high‑volume manufacturing facility on the 3rd shift. You will troubleshoot, repair, and maintain production equipment to maximize uptime and support safe operations.

Responsibilities include advanced preventive maintenance, diagnosing electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and PLC issues, and coordinating with production and contractors.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least three years of mechanical and/or electrical maintenance experience involving industrial or manufacturing machinery, or five years of equivalent relevant experience.
• Ability to read and interpret P&IDs, electrical schematics, mechanical diagrams, equipment manuals, and machine layout drawings.

Responsibilities

• Perform advanced preventive, scheduled, and corrective maintenance on production equipment.
• Diagnose and repair electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, plumbing, and PLC-related problems.
• Complete or assist with major equipment overhauls, system rebuilds, and equipment installations.
• Work closely with production personnel and outside contractors to coordinate repairs and minimize operational disruptions.
• Safely operate forklifts, lifts, power tools, diagnostic equipment, and other maintenance machinery.
• Accurately document completed work, equipment conditions, and maintenance activities in the computerized maintenance management system.
• Communicate equipment issues, repair status, and follow-up needs electronically with maintenance and production team members.
• Maintain clean, safe, and organized maintenance work areas.
• Follow all GMP requirements, safety procedures, company policies, and applicable regulatory standards.
