Job summary

United States Cold Storage, Inc. is seeking a maintenance technician for the 3rd shift (Sun-Thu, 11 PM–7:30 AM) in our Engineering department.

The role focuses on supporting the maintenance team, performing preventive tasks, and ensuring safe operation in a cold storage environment. You will work with hand and power tools, service forklifts, inspect life safety equipment, and assist with entry-level refrigeration tasks after proper training.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent required.
• Previous maintenance experience preferred.
• Knowledge of general hand and power tools.
• Experience with preventative maintenance preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support the maintenance department and cover shifts when training allows.
• Maintain forklift batteries and perform routine inspections.
• Perform routine preventive maintenance and check safety equipment.
• Complete work orders with detailed maintenance documentation.
• Assist with entry-level refrigeration tasks after training.
• Participate in emergency response and safety trainings.
• Operate warehouse devices and tools as required.
