Job summary

Aerotek is seeking a 3rd Shift Maintenance Technician in Toledo, OH for a contract role. You will troubleshoot and repair electrical systems up to 480V 3-phase, motor drives, control panels, and various mechanical equipment, including pumps and boilers.

Reading blueprints and performing preventative maintenance are essential. The role requires willingness to work 11 PM–7 AM, with potential shift changes and a small premium for the third shift.

Responsibilities

• Perform electrical troubleshooting and repairs on equipment up to 480V 3-phase systems.
• Troubleshoot and repair motors, VFDs, control panels, wiring, fuses, and electrical components.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical systems including pumps, gearboxes, steam boilers, dryer systems, and pneumatic equipment.
• Read and interpret blueprints, electrical schematics, and technical drawings.
• Conduct preventative maintenance on manufacturing equipment.
• Execute facility maintenance projects including lighting upgrades and wiring modifications.
• Fabricate components and perform MIG and Stick welding as needed.
• Assist with equipment installations, upgrades, and process improvement projects.
• Repair and maintain forklifts and other support equipment as required.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and communicate equipment issues to management.
