Job summary

thyssenkrupp rothe erde is seeking a skilled maintenance technician for a 3rd shift role in Ohio to troubleshoot electro-mechanical systems, perform preventive maintenance, and repair activities across equipment and facilities.

The ideal candidate has journeyman status or technical training with CNC, Fanuc or Siemens controls, PLC programming, and the ability to read ladder logic diagrams and schematics, ensuring safe, reliable operation.

Qualifications

• Minimum five-year journeyman status and/or technical degree certification.
• Training and work experience must include CNC (Fanuc and Siemens), CNC electronic control devices, motors and drives.

Responsibilities

• Through continuous monitoring and measurement, assure that all products meet or exceed customer expectations and comply with procedural requirements.
• Comply with safety rules and precautions, utilizing extreme care around high voltage and arc flash energy sources.
• Diagnose problems using PLC programming and ladder logic, read diagrams to support troubleshooting.
• Complete PM work orders, lubricate, service fluids, take oil samples, change oils and dispose.
• Complete machine component maintenance tasks and read schematics for troubleshooting.
