Job summary

Martinrea in Riverside, MO seeks a maintenance technician to ensure continuous operation of CNC machinery and shop equipment. You will develop preventive maintenance programs, document activities, and report to management on maintenance outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Assures long-term capability and expedient repair of all building equipment, tooling and machinery.
• Able to perform maintenance on CNC machinery.
• Develop and implement a Preventative Maintenance program for all production and support equipment.
• Document completion of Preventative Maintenance work and provide written reports to management.
• Respond immediately and correct equipment problems affecting quality, scheduling or cost.
• Maintain a list of perishable tooling for all production and support equipment.
• Track perishable tooling inventory and initiate ordering when appropriate.
• Contribute to safety, production, quality and scheduling improvements.
• Assist in installation of production and support equipment.
• Consistently follow ISO standards and company policies.

Job description

Required Education and Experience:

• Excellent English Communication Skills (oral and written)

• Electrical knowledge preferred
• Ability to interact with Management Team in a professional manner to continually enhance the company's performance
• Ability to work independently without supervision and with minimum directions
• Successful Completion of Martinrea International's Orientation Program

Essential Functions:

• Assures long-term capability and expedient repair of all building equipment, tooling and machinery
• Able to perform maintenance on CNC Machinery
• Developing and implementing a Preventative Maintenance program for all production and support equipment
• Documenting completion of Preventative Maintenance work and providing written reports to management
• Immediately responding and correcting all equipment problems that are adversely affecting quality, scheduling or cost
• Developing and maintaining a list of perishable tooling that is required for all production and support equipment
• Tracking perishable tooling inventory and initiating ordering additional material when appropriate
• Continuous improvement with regards to safety, production, quality and scheduling
• Assisting in the installation of production and support equipment
• Consistently following ISO standards
• Abide by all company polices including, but not limited to the following; Health and safety, Quality and Environmental Systems, Human resources policies, and Martinrea Employee Handbook
• Ensure compliance with all applicable codes, standards and legislation including Environmental Legislation, for Industrial Establishments, and the Occupational Health and Safety Act
• Understand and be compliant with all State and Provincial laws as it relates to Harassment and Violence in the workplace.
• Abide by all Company polices including, but not limited to the following: Health and Safety, Quality and Environmental Systems, Human Resources policies, and the Martinrea Employee Handbook
