Job summary

Vermeer is seeking a technically minded maintenance technician for the third shift to fix and maintain a range of equipment on the manufacturing floor. You will perform preventative maintenance and support repair activities for mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems, while contributing to a positive team environment.

The role requires basic trades experience, the ability to read blueprints and schematics, and proficiency with hand tools, volt meters, and Microsoft Office.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or HiSet with two years of basic trades experience.
• Experience reading blueprints and electrical schematics.
• Ability to operate hand and power tools and volt meters.

Responsibilities

• Perform and record scheduled preventative maintenance on equipment.
• Create a positive customer experience with mentors and peers.
• Accurately use the Thrive maintenance data system.
• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic or electrical equipment under supervision while following safety protocols.
