Verdeco Recycling is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician for a 3rd shift (Sunday-Thursday, 11:00 pm–7:30 am) to keep production equipment running efficiently.

You will perform mechanical, electrical, and PLC troubleshooting, read schematics, and carry out scheduled and emergency repairs. The role requires lifting up to 50 lbs and reliable transportation to our Terre Haute facility.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in manufacturing with strong electrical knowledge reading schematics for installation and repair of production equipment.
• Experience reading schematics for installation and repair of production equipment.
• Associates Degree in Machine Technology preferred; relevant work experience may substitute.
• Strong communication, analytical and organizational skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office and Excel.

Responsabilités

• Perform maintenance tasks including mechanical, electrical, PLC troubleshooting and repair of production machines.
• Provide emergency/unscheduled repairs of production equipment during production.
• Perform scheduled maintenance repairs and maintain tracking reports.
• Develop robust preventative maintenance tasks to keep equipment operational.
• Provide maintenance of the facility, including scheduled and emergency repairs.
• Rotational on-call for 24/7 production support; shifts are distributed to balance load.
• Read manuals and drawings to troubleshoot equipment; interpret schematics.
• Operate forklifts, scissors, and JLG-type basket lifts.
• Diagnose problems, replace/repair parts, and verify proper operation.
• Identify faulty operations or materials and report to supervision.
• Maintain safe, clean work areas and comply with regulations.
• Meet yearly personal/department SMART objectives.
