Job summary

3M is seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform preventive and corrective maintenance across plant equipment, reading schematics and installing or repairing mechanical and electrical systems. You will document work in CMMS SAP and collaborate with teams to ensure safe, reliable operations.

The role requires a two-year technical degree in a maintenance field, willingness to work 2nd or 3rd shift, and experience with PLCs, hydraulics, and pneumatics.

Qualifications

• Two-year technical degree or higher in a maintenance-related field.
• Experience in maintenance trades such as welding, pipefitting, fabrication, gearboxes, lubrication, pumps and piping systems, hydraulics and pneumatics.
• Experience with PLCs and programmable controls.
• Familiarity with CMMS systems such as SAP and strict safety practices.

Responsibilities

• Complete preventive, predictive, and reactive maintenance across facility equipment.
• Operate standard maintenance tools and read blueprints and manuals.
• Document work and conditions in maintenance software; maintain clean work area.
• Coordinate with peers and management to improve facility operations and safety.
