Job summary

The Kraft Heinz Company Avon Plant is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor for the 3rd shift to oversee electrical, mechanical, and process equipment maintenance. You will drive reliability, safety, and cost controls while coordinating with engineering and operations to meet production targets.

Responsibilities include leading maintenance staff, developing preventive programs, managing budgets, and advancing TPM/QRMP initiatives, with focus on continuous improvement and safe operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or related Technical field is strongly preferred.
• Minimum of 1-5 years of related leadership experience in a Manufacturing environment is required.
• Must be familiar with maintenance management system operations.
• Experience implementing and maintaining TPM Systems is strongly preferred.
• Understanding of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and utility systems including ammonia refrigeration and boiler systems is a plus.
• Understanding of direct and overhead cost systems.
• Experience using, troubleshooting and programming Allen Bradley PLCs is a plus.
• Must be able to work flexible schedule to include days, afternoons, midnights, and weekend work.

Responsibilities

• Directs maintenance personnel to meet production schedules, quality, costs, and priorities.
• Improves reliability and maintenance methods to reduce cost and prevent downtime.
• Develops preventative maintenance procedures to extend equipment life.
• Coordinate and supervise corrective and preventive maintenance per procedures and budgets.
• Provide maintenance training and support for logs and equipment operations.
• Assist in safety training and implementation of the 9-key element process.
• Oversee QRMP implementation and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
