Job summary

Tyson Foods, Inc. is seeking a Plant Maintenance Supervisor to lead maintenance technicians, coordinate preventative maintenance, and uphold SQF and GMP standards.

The role requires 2+ years as a maintenance lead, an associate degree or certificate, and experience with PLCs, electrical and mechanical systems, and SAP. You will foster a safety‑first culture, oversee downtime reduction, and maintain a clean, safe plant environment on the 3rd shift in Texas.

Qualifications

• Requires 2+ years as a maintenance lead or supervisor with direct reports.
• Experience diagnosing electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, plumbing, and PLC problems.
• Knowledge of SQF and GMP practices is required.

Responsibilities

• Lead and train a staff of 15 maintenance technicians.
• Oversee preventative maintenance and repair of equipment.
• Minimize downtime by quickly diagnosing problems.
• Promote a Safety First culture among staff.
• Coordinate maintenance policies with the Maintenance Manager.
