Job summary

Jobot is seeking a hands-on Maintenance Supervisor to lead its third-shift maintenance team in Medford, MA. The role focuses on improving equipment reliability, reducing downtime, and strengthening preventive maintenance to support safe, uninterrupted production.

Responsibilities include directing maintenance work, troubleshooting issues, coaching technicians, and ensuring compliance with safety and USDA-related requirements.

Qualifications

• At least three years of verifiable maintenance supervisory experience in a food manufacturing setting.
• Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
• Experience with plant equipment and maintenance software is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Schedule, assign, and direct maintenance work, balancing immediate repairs with preventive maintenance priorities.
• Troubleshoot recurring equipment problems and coordinate corrective actions to reduce downtime.
• Lead, coach, train, and evaluate maintenance technicians.
• Enforce safe work practices and maintain accountability for team performance.
• Review production reports to identify equipment issues and improve reliability and operating costs.
• Maintain work orders and records using plant software; coordinate with Production, Quality, and USDA personnel.
