Job summary

Electrical Automation Services in Hayneville, AL is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to lead third-shift maintenance operations on site. You will direct a team of technicians, coordinate with planners, and ensure safe, efficient work on production equipment, with a strong focus on reliability and continuous improvement.

You will spend most of the shift on the plant floor, provide technical guidance, manage workloads, and participate in safety and downtime reviews.

Qualifications

• Five+ years in manufacturing or maintenance supervision.
• Experience supervising and developing industrial maintenance personnel.
• Experience maintaining and troubleshooting hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
• Experience with drive systems, transmissions and related mechanical equipment.
• Basic experience with industrial controllers and processors.
• Knowledge of industrial electrical wiring, devices, and control circuits.
• Experience installing, maintaining and troubleshooting industrial drives.
• SAP or comparable CMMS experience.
• Strong leadership, communication, organization and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead maintenance teams to meet safety, quality, and environmental standards.
• Ensure complete work orders, approvals, and proper documentation.
• Attend shift handovers and review downtime, work orders, and actions.
• Represent maintenance in production meetings and communicate priorities.
• Assign workloads and manage labor, materials, and parts.
• Spend 60% of shift on the production floor engaging with mechanics and serving as liaison to production.
• Provide technical guidance and ensure work is completed safely and correctly.
• Coordinate with planners to manage backlog and set priorities.
• Document labor hours, materials, failures, and actions in SAP.
• Lead continuous-improvement activities and safety meetings.
