Job summary

Tremco Construction Products Group is seeking a Machine Operator to start, troubleshoot, and operate manufacturing equipment safely. Three levels exist (I, II, III) based on experience and ability to troubleshoot and optimize cycles with minimal downtime.

Responsibilities include safe operation, following standard procedures, meeting production targets, and maintaining quality through inspections and paperwork. Forklift certification is preferred.

Qualifications

• No formal education required.
• Experience levels vary: Operator I 0+ years, II 1+ years, III 3+ years.
• Forklift certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate manufacturing equipment safely and follow all safety rules.
• Follow standard work procedures to operate and maintain machines.
• Routinely meet or exceed production output rates per standards.
• Ensure products meet tolerances and specifications.
• Perform routine inspections per quality standards.
• Maintain accurate paperwork and documentation.
• Cross-train on other production functions as needed.
• Clean and maintain work area and equipment.
• Report safety, quality and mechanical issues and assist with solving them.
• Participate in continuous improvement activities.
