Job summary

Tremco Construction Products Group is seeking a Machine Operator to start, troubleshoot, and operate manufacturing equipment on the plant floor. The level will be determined by experience and demonstrated ability to independently resolve issues for efficient cycles and minimal downtime.

Qualifications

• No formal education is required.
• Experience operating a machine in a manufacturing environment is preferred.
• Forklift certification is preferred.
• Ability to function effectively in a team setting.
• Demonstrates reliability and flexibility in a production environment.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor assigned manufacturing machines following standard work procedures.
• Meet or exceed production output rates while maintaining quality tolerances.
• Perform routine inspections and ensure products meet specifications.
• Complete paperwork accurately and maintain proper labeling and storage.
• Cross-train on additional production functions as needed.
• Assist with setup of off-line/secondary equipment when required.
• Report safety, quality, and mechanical issues and participate in continuous improvement.
