Job summary

Pratt & Whitney is seeking a Machine Operator 1 for a 3rd shift (Sun-Fri, 2200-0600) to operate a range of production machines including CMMs, polish wheels, EDM, and grinding equipment. You will read process sheets, deburr, gauge parts, and ensure parts meet blueprint specifications.

Responsibilities include documenting results, maintaining run charts, and keeping the work area clean while meeting quality standards. The role requires 1+ year of experience preferred and a high school diploma.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Proficiency in blueprint reading and precision measurements.
• Experience operating production machines is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate a variety of production machines and perform routine operations.
• Read and interpret process sheets, deburr and clean parts, gauge parts and record results.
• Utilize measuring devices and maintain run charts for dimensional data.
• Maintain clean work area and equipment and ensure quality levels.
• Move about the line to operate equipment and handle products up to 10 pounds.
