Qualifications

• One year certificate from college or technical school or 3–6 months related experience or training.
• Ability to read simple instructions and safety rules.
• Knowledge of CNC software and PC usage.

Responsibilities

• Reads and interprets blueprints, specs and shop orders.
• Sets up tooling and fixtures on the machine.
• Adjusts factors like ram stroke, blade angle and speed.
• Inspects/output parts and labels them for storage.
