Job summary

Penske Logistics is seeking a proven Operations Supervisor to lead a team of drivers at a Batavia, IL location. You will direct daily tasks, coordinate loading/unloading, and ensure service levels align with customer needs and cost objectives.

The role emphasizes team leadership, safety, and continuous improvement, with a fixed 6:00 PM–6:00 AM schedule, salary in the mid-to-upper range, and bonus eligibility based on performance and location.

Responsibilities

• Supervise logistics operations including customer service, freight loading and unloading, dispatch and proper documentation and procedure control.
• Conduct team meetings and provide coaching to associates.
• Evaluate and implement changes to increase dispatch productivity; assist in training.
• Provide relief coverage for operational duties when shifts are short-staffed.
• Ensure compliance with site systems, records, and performance metrics.
