Job summary

United States Cold Storage Inc in Wilmington, IL seeks a 3rd Shift Warehouse Inventory Control Specialist to manage inventory accuracy and cycle counts. The role supports leadership, answers customer inquiries, and maintains precise records while collaborating with audits and internal teams.

The position requires lifting, operation of warehouse scanners, and ability to work in a cold warehouse environment. High school diploma or GED is required, forklift experience preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• Forklift experience preferred.
• Inventory experience preferred.
• Problem-solving skills required.
• MS Word and Excel experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Solve inventory discrepancies during normal warehousing operations to ensure efficient workflow and communicate with leadership.
• Perform cycle count, work orders, and other inventory checks to answer customer inquiries.
• Responsible for the entry or update of inventory records in the system to correct discrepancies.
• Act as a liaison for any warehouse-related needs regarding internal or external audits or customer and agency visits.
• Responsible for performing any customer hold procedures including labeling, relocating, and daily cycle count checks.
