Job summary

United States Cold Storage, Inc. is seeking a 3rd Shift Warehouse Inventory Control Specialist in Wilmington, IL. This role focuses on resolving inventory discrepancies during normal warehousing operations, performing cycle counts, and maintaining accurate inventory records to support customer inquiries and audits.

Ideal candidates will have a high school diploma or GED and forklift/inventory experience. Proficiency with Word/Excel is preferred, and candidates must be able to operate warehouse

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Forklift and inventory experience preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel preferred.

Responsibilities

• Solve inventory discrepancies during normal warehousing operations and communicate findings to leadership.
• Perform cycle counts, work orders, and other inventory checks to respond to customer inquiries.
• Enter or update inventory records to correct discrepancies in the system.
• Act as liaison for warehouse needs during audits or visits by customers or agencies.
• Monitor inventory accuracy and initiate corrective actions using hold and aging reports.
• Prepare inventory reports for customers or facility requirements.
