Nestlé USA is seeking an Industrial Refrigeration & HVAC-R Technician for 3rd shift to support a food manufacturing facility. The role covers service, repair, and preventive maintenance of ammonia refrigeration, HVAC, and plant utilities, with hands-on training and certification support to grow skills.

You will join a safety‑driven team, contribute to Process Safety Management and Emergency Response efforts, and maintain detailed records in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Ammonia refrigeration experience required.
• RET A CARO certification preferred; if not certified, you must earn it within your first year, with company-provided course support

Responsibilities

• Install, service, troubleshoot, and repair industrial HVAC-R and utility equipment
• Support ammonia refrigeration, drive-in coolers and freezers, glycol chillers, boilers, water treatment, and related systems
• Monitor steam boiler and water chemistry controls
• Maintain reverse osmosis systems, softeners, and filters
• Complete equipment logs and reports in the computerized maintenance system
