Job summary

Nestlé USA is hiring an Industrial Refrigeration & HVAC-R Technician for 3rd shift to support ammonia refrigeration, HVAC, and plant utilities. This role offers hands-on training, certification support, and a retention bonus of $3,000 with a split payout over 8 months.

Starting pay is $35.64 per hour, plus a 3rd shift premium of $1.50 per hour. The position requires safety awareness, teamwork, and the ability to work in hot/cold environments on 12-hour shifts (2-2-3 rotation) with opportunities

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• At least one year of manufacturing experience preferred.
• At least one year of HVAC-R experience or related education preferred.
• RETA CARO certification preferred; if not certified, you must earn it within your first year, with company‑provided course support.

Responsibilities

• Service, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain ammonia refrigeration, HVAC, and plant utility systems.
• Support Process Safety Management and emergency response teams.
• Install, service, troubleshoot, and repair industrial HVAC-R and utility equipment.
