Responsibilities include preventive and emergency maintenance, responding to alarms, coordinating contractors, and maintaining detailed work orders while ensuring GMP/HACCP and plant safety procedures are followed.

Qualifications

• Experience working with industrial ammonia refrigeration systems is required.
• Welding or brazing experience is needed.
• Electrical troubleshooting skills are essential.
• Ability to read safety rules, operating instructions and maintenance manuals.
• Basic mathematical skills and attention to detail.
• Willingness to work overtime or extended hours as required.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive, corrective, and emergency maintenance on ammonia refrigeration systems.
• Receive, initiate, and complete preventive maintenance and work orders.
• Respond to alarms, system issues, and emergency maintenance situations.
• Conduct ammonia pump-downs and system isolation when required.
• Coordinate outside contractors per safety plant procedures.
• Maintain accurate maintenance and work order documentation.
